ŒbŽq - Keiko

Please allow me to introduce my new kimono girl "Keiko".

Keiko means Grace and Blessed in Japanese and she is wearing one of the many kimonos I made for Yukiko who had refused to wear them but I think this kimono finally found it's rightful owner in Keiko because she's just gorgeous in it! :D

Keiko is approximately 26cm/10.5 inches tall and is created from quality sparse mohair. Keiko is 5 way jointed using cotter pin joints and have large black German glass eyes. She has large pink rosy cheeks and a cute little light brown embroidered nose.

Keiko is a weighty medium size bear, filled with quality polyflock stuffing and her feet also contains glass beads. With a little initial help to steady her, she can stand quite steadily on her own two feet.

Keiko's kimono is made by me using a beautiful traditional kimono fabric. She's very interested in the fine arts of Japanese culture and enjoys tea ceremony ( especially because she loves the yummy Japanese sweets ). In her kimono, she has lots of fun mimicking the kabuki actors and their dance....she's a graceful little girl indeed! lol
