"Bubble and Hammond" by Kerry

Dear Jenny,
I have just recently made two of many of your patterns I have purchased from you. Thought it would be nice for you to see Hammond and Bubbles. I haven't been making bears for very long and it seems to take a while for me just to finish one project, although I really enjoy making and collecting bears, my collection is growing slowly. Thankyou so much I just love your patterns and when I finish a few more I'll send some more photos.
Kindest regards
Kerry

"Petra" by Ming

Hi Jenny,
I'm glad you like Petra... the pattern really throw me off in the beginning because I cant make head or tail the front or the side! But you were so helpful and got me going.... once I started sewing, i just cant stop and cant wait to finish it.... At times the finishing touch is the hard part because when I started to add the bell, I wanted to add the ribbon the next day, and the next day looking at petra, i wanted to add other stuff, but felt that it might look like a christmas tree once im finish so i stop... it was really fun... I'm going to make another one, Petra partner hehehe.... and also there friend... the elephant hehehe...
Hugs,
Ming

"Rainbow" and "Fuzzy" by Claire

Hi Jenny,
Thank you so much for the Raphael pattern. I couldn't wait to get making and thought I would show you my new friends. We have a full size little girl, call Rainbow. She likes playing dress up, especially in Mummy's pearls! And her reduced size cousin called Fuzzy. Rainbow is looking after him as he can't see very well, he only has 'true eyes' at the moment as we need to get some smaller glass eyes for him from the supply shop, so things are a little 'fuzzy' for him.
I noticed poor Rainbow's nose looks a bit twisted in the photo, but strangely doesn't in the flesh - so to speak! - Hmmm
Your bears are adorable!
Regards,
Claire

"Peanut" by Therese

Hi Jenny,
I have admired your bears since I started making them in January this year. I finished my 12th bear just now and it was made from your Hammond pattern.
I have renamed her S.A.B. - well my youngest son named her - Skin And Bones as she is a skinny little thing - not like my other chubby bears. She is made from mauve mohair and I didn't have eyes the right size so used some silver beads that were the right size and they looked great!
I hope its ok to send you a photo of her - I have seen the photos on your website of other people's versions of your patterns and its great to see that everyone has their own way of making the bears.
I look forward to making more of your designs as they are just so cute.
SAB will sit on my computer now to keep me company.
Happy Bearmaking!

"Grape" by Ali

Hi Jenny, last year whilst looking through your gallery my daughter fell in love with Grape your purple anime bear and begged me to make one. I bought your Sugar pattern, followed the very easy instructions and voila one child-safe Grape was born. I went on to make a shaggy pink version for my younger daughter which she called Mira (unfortunately it has been so well loved a picture would now be out of the question heehee). Please note that the little velour bear besides Grape is the first bear I ever made from a pattern a friend gave me, I call him Toby.
I just want to say a big thankyou for making and sharing such lovely and easy to follow patterns. I have your bunny one waiting on my todo pile and plan to buy Natalie next or perhaps Dimples ......................... too much choice!!!!!
Many thanks, Ali xxx

"Lily " by Shari

I finished the Sunshine pattern. I loved working with it as I do your patterns. They
are easy to use and fun. I've name my lil' critter LiLy. She's made from rose color
mohair. She is sweet. I hope you like her as much as I do. Thank you once again for
sharing your wonderful patterns.
"CoCo Bean " by Shari

Hi Jenny,
I finished my Yum Yum pattern. I really enjoyed making it and named the little
darlin' CoCo Bean. I plucked his face
and feet. I hope you enjoy the pictures and I hope I did your pattern justice. I can't
wait to get the next pattern. The head on Yum Yum is great!!! By the way he turned
out at 5.5" for me. hahaha!

Howdy Jenny, Well CoCo Bean is recuperating after an eye job this weekend. I think it's a vast improvement if I say so myself. I was the
officiating Dr! She makes a better looking Yum Yum this way! It has opened up her eyes for that wide eye look, and the flower
in her hair gives her that youth fresh, youthful look.

"Frenchie and Katie" by Jackie

Hello Jenny, I just finished making two Bears from your bear patterns, so I thought I would like to share a couple of the photo's I took of them today.
First I made "Frenchie" AKA Bubble. She was created using long "Bubble Gum Pink" color Mohair. She sports false eyelashes, and is dressed for her first Ballerina Debut.Second is "Katie" AKA Rumpole. I used short Black Mohair to create her. she looks a little forlorn to me, so I might have to cheer up some.It was such a pleasure to make them, and I like the fact that your patterns had all the pieces ready to cut (no stopping to turn one piece over to get the matched set). I am "Sewing Challenged" but I do believe these two bears turned out quite nice for a beginner like myself. Your patterns and instructions made it very easy to complete.
If the photo's don't come thru, I can always attach them in a file to send. Thanks for everything,Jackie in Virginia, USA

"Flower" by Merrilyn

Hi Jenny, Here is a photo of my finished Flower and thankfully she has metamorphosised from a dog back into a teddy! Not as cute as yours and my young sons have decided it looks more like a boy than a girl, so they'll have to think up a new name!
Thanks for your help - I think I may be hooked!
Kind regards, Merrilyn

"Bluebell & 'Hungry Biscuit'" by Jean (UK)

Hi, Just a quick note to thank you for the patterns. I've really enjoyed using them. I'm very pleased with my Melody- renamed Bluebell by my daughter. My version of Twinkee is a little scary looking monkey, much room for improvement! I put safety joints and safety eyes in Natalie. She goes to school with my daughter every day! She's been renamed Hungry Biscuit - by my daughter, Maia - well she's only 3 and a half. Maia has started looking through your website she wants a pink Natalie and an orange fluffy Twinkee so that will keep me busy. Thanks again for making me look really clever. Compliments of the Season and look forward to more of your creations! Kind Regards Jean...I think they're going to need some Winter woolies pretty soon!

"Tula" by Lyn

Hi Jenny,
How are you? I like your new site:o)) Anyway, don't know if you will remember me but I bought one of your Polly bear kits a while back and I have now finished her and thought you would like to see pictures of her. A little different to yours as I used hand dyed wool felt for the inside of the ears and also for the paw and foot pads. A change of eye too as well as a Gemstone cabochon nose. Take care now and have a nice day. Hugs, Lyn

"Little Jack Frost " by Helen

Hi Jenny,
Frosty shrunk a bit (left)! and - in keeping with his bigger brothers name is Little Jack Frost. (He measures about 4" sitting). You can't imagine how my times his ears pinged across the room as I tried to turn them out. A steel shot bottom has him sitting up straight
I'm planning on a companion and will send his picture when done.
Kind Regards
Helen
Hi Jenny, As promised Jack's best mate attached. I've tinkered very slightly with your pattern. Lovely patterns to work with - hope to get another soon. Kind regards Helen

Hi Jenny
Hope you are well.
I have recieved and made my MFB kit that my hubby bought for me as an early Easter pressie. I have named him "little Jack" and I loved making him. (photo attached)
I have also been making more bears from JLB patterns, that have been adopted by family and friends. I have also enclosed photos of Lester (in the blue scarf) and Ned, the very hairy bear.
I am hooked on bear making...................addicted..........and now I have confidence gained from making your bears, I want to design and create my own.
I always look at your bears on Ebay, they are all gorgeous, each has their own character and I hope to be able to make bears this good one day.........

Hammond, Whitely, MONTY and " LUCA" all made by Yale
Hi Jenny, Here’s a picture of Hammond (he’s kept the original name!). Thanks again for the fantastic patterns, I’ve had a great time making them! Yale.
I’ve also attached a picture of my bear from the Raphael pattern – who adopted the name “Whitely” due to his white mohair, and it’s stuck! Now making the Hammond pattern, and have also got a couple of friends into making bears too!!

Hi Jenny,
Here are the photos of the bears I’ve made from the Bubble pattern. The first (below) is “Monty”, he’s the first bear I made from the mohair you supplied with the kit.
The second (right) is “Luca”, he’s made from a cashmere coat material, I changed the pattern slightly to make his feet and paws a bit bigger, and he has steel shot weights in his body so he’s quite heavy. Thankyou so much for making your pattern simple and easy to follow – I always thought making bears would be too difficult, but your patterns have shown me that it’s easy and fun!! I’m now making another bear similar to Monty for a friend’s 21st present (I had enough mohair from the kit to make two bears, so all I need to buy are the eyes and joints – a very inexpensive present!) . Looking forward to receiving my new patterns! Cant wait to make them!!

Katie & Dimples by Alli...

Hi Jenny
I received my MOMO pattern last week and since then have been working feverishly on my next bear.
I'd like you to meet KATIE. A baby bear with a cheeky character, who is already bossing the older bears of the family around.
I wanted to say that I've had great fun making bears from your patterns, they are easy to follow and not too difficult, perfect for novice makers like me.
Take care, looking forward to seeing more patterns and bears on your website
Allison
P.S Dimples has already aquired a scarf to keep him warm as the UK is expecting arctic conditions by the end of this week!

You sold me a Frosty pattern about 6 weeks ago. I just wanted to let you know that he turned out wonderfully. He has travelled with me from Melbourne to France as a Christmas present where he was received with much joy. My friend made up a little website from several photos I took during the time I made him. If you're interested, the website is http://sheb.pely.net The bear's name is Sheb (Scary Hairy Beary).
